What is JET’s Lessonpedia?

Lessonpedia is an online and completely free, ESL open source lesson plan provider that has been created by teachers, for teachers. Also, it can be accessed, updated and improved by anyone! Jakarta English Training will make the effort to create quality lesson plans which are free for all teachers. JET’s Lessonpedia aims to bring the highest quality educational knowledge to everyone who seeks it.

Who is responsible for the lesson plans on JET’s Lessonpedia?

JET’s lesson plans are for everybody who has an interest in teaching English as a second language. Therefore, collaborative efforts from dedicated teachers are responsible for developing the online lessons plans that correspond with well established business English textbooks such as Market Leader, International Express and Intelligent Business. All you need is some teacher knowledge you wish to share with us and know how to edit a page. Once you have submitted a lesson plan a panel of experienced ESL teachers will review the aim, rationale and methods of delivery for the lesson plan. The panel can integrate one plan or suggestion with previous ones in order to make a lesson plan stronger overall. Additionally we may provide a catalogue of lessons on a particular topic so a teacher has the choice of downloading the lesson plan that best suits their classroom requirements. Most importantly JET’s Lessonpedia aims to provide a well rounded, fun and student centered lesson plan to all teachers.

Revisions

If a lesson plan has already been submitted and you spot an error in the latest revision of the plan, you are highly encouraged to send JET’s Lessonpedia an email which highlights the error and we will correct it immediately. This basic review mechanism maintains the reliability of our lesson plans. If you are uncertain, or find the wording of a lesson plan confusing, a forum is available where you can leave any questions and we can validate any inaccuracies.
